Hoover Machine

Commissioned for startrunning D, Hoover Machine is an interactive mechanical sculpture designed to record ephemera in its environment, offering it up for re-examination.

Participants were able to activate the machine using a remote control. And were invited to claim the debris that was caught. This debris could be kept, discarded, mused upon, or mounted.
