Background
This ongoing project Fauna Automata captures an element of Beijing that usually escapes most visitors to the city. The wooden structure was placed in shrubbery at a roadside verge in the far Northeast of the city, and recorded two photographs of a Hedgehog.
 
 
This machine includes a rattrap, which has been modified (for safety) so that it cannot move to an acute angle.
